LIFE SKILLS
We offer a life skills programme that covers a range of activities that help to develop the necessary skills to manage in our daily lives. This can include accessing the community, money management, travel, healthy eating and physical activity, all of which are fundamental to building confidence and independence into adulthood.
EDUCATION
We understand the importance of education and making sure you have the right qualifications to unlock the next stage. However, we also recognise that the one size fits all approach doesn’t works for everyone. At Lotus, we tailor our education delivery to meet the individual needs so that you can engage more meaningfully. We can support with Functional Skills English and Maths from Entry Level to Level 2, providing you with the confidence to complete the qualifications. If required, we can organise for you to complete the assessments via our affiliated centre. We can also help you find the right course for you once you feel ready and support the transition into your next placement to make sure you feel confident to attend.
EMPLOYABILITY
We recognise that gaining qualifications is only part of a good education and that all young people need to learn about the world of work and gain real life experience. We can support with the development of those critical employability skills that will allow you to take the next step. From CV writing, job search, applications to interview techniques, we aim to provide you with the tools to start your employment journey. Lotus will help establish links with local employers to find work experience, apprenticeships or full time positions and support you at each step.
PROGRESSION REVIEWS
As part of our service, we can provide up to date professional reports on progress towards individualised outcomes. These can presented at any meeting or review that is required.
